I report a good day. The 922 mechanized-SIGINT managed to punch through the bladder of the Tunnel-thing. Bedraggled and admittedly a little rotten, the heavy equipment could proceed. Ahead was to witness our first encounter with one of the great toroidal packet-stations. |

The old tunnel was fetid and musty. There were stains on the cushions, armies marched through portals from plane to plane like they were doing anything useful. The flux capacitor wasn't even tuned to modern frequencies- if you didn't kick it, it leaked a sickly stream of amber lit consoles, poltergeists and failed physics experiments. All this may be true, but you're still in the tunnel. |
