That was the last sheep we would ever use as a public utility, learning that just an animal into a tunnel wouldn't save us was harsh. The old tunnel was fetid and musty. There were stains on the cushions, armies marched through portals from plane to plane like they were doing anything useful. The flux capacitor wasn't even tuned to modern frequencies- if you didn't kick it, it leaked a sickly stream of amber lit consoles, poltergeists and failed physics experiments. All this may be true, but you're still in the tunnel. |
